This is the official end of the Temporary Organization that was created within DOGE for hiring volunteer staff as Special Government Employees. Many news outlets have treated this as the official end of DOGE, but many former DOGE staff still remain in key government positions, and the National Design Studio (which has a similar temporary organization) continues to expand its staffing.
