Eric Sidle
To be clear, there hasn’t been any reporting that has positively linked Eric Sidle to DOGE, and there is no evidence of any personal connection to Elon Musk or Marc Andreessen or other DOGE recruiters. However, like other DOGE leaders, he does come from the tech industry (formerly a CEO at Chargepoint and a senior leader at Apple Computer), and he has been placed in CIO roles ahead of others with government experience in 2 agencies where DOGE has continued to be active. DOGE Track does also include affiliated staff who have enabled DOGE’s activities, so that is why I am tentatively adding him here. One key question: now that he has moved from HUD to Interior, will that agency begin using DOGE’s SweetREX AI tool developed at HUD to prune its regulations?
